Heritage Day Celebrating 300 years of the Church of the Brethren Saturday, October 4, 2008 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
You won’t want to miss the Heritage Day Festival on Saturday, October 4, 10 - 3 at the church. There will be a sale of unique homemade crafts, children’s activities, heirloom quilt display, spinning wheel and weaving demonstrations, lunch (soup and homemade pie). Carol, the Llamamama will be bringing Pisco, the llama for petting and feeding of carrots from 11 am - 1pm. Pisco will be part of the Heifer Project International display. Informational displays on peace-making, Brethren Volunteer Service, Bridgeway, and Brethren history will all be a part of this special 300 anniversary celebration of the Church of the Brethren
